About Me

My medium at present is acrylic and my passion is abstract expression with all of its surprises. Colours and their different moods and emotions are what matter most to me in my paintings.

I have no formal training and never expected to find myself painting. Since a child, needles and pins were my creative tools. The change of heart occurred on seeing a colourful poster advertising the Bath Festival back in the early ‘80s. At this point I knew I needed to paint and I haven't looked back since.

My garden studio in Hampshire U.K. is where it all happens - having moved here in 2019 after life in other areas of the U.K., my native Holland, Germany and latterly France.
